- The strip of paper containing Japanese Kanji in this card's artwork is most likely an Omikuji, which are random fortunes written on strips of paper at Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples in Japan.
- They often however (especially in some anime series) connote to condemning people/things to some degree of a curse, hence this card's effect to "curse" your opponent in ceding their next Draw Phase.
- According to a Pojo post by Kevin Tewart, this card was mostly banned in the OCG because of the synergy with "Temple of the Kings".
