  • This card can be reused with "Salvage".
  • Special Summon this card with "Surface".
  • If your opponent has already attacked this card with a weaker monster to flip it face-up, and if they are about to destroy it with a stronger monster, use "Book of Moon" to give them a nasty surprise. This would work best if they had 2 stronger monsters left. Due to the fact you wouldn't want to waste the effect on the weaker monster that ran into it and damaged your opponent. (Unless it can attack twice that is.) You use the effect on one of the stronger monsters that has not attacked yet. "Book of Moon" after he commits to an attack by the second stronger monster.
  • This can can become a match-up nightmare against "Gladiator Beasts" as the "Gladiator" would not gain its effect.
  • A common strategy is to flip this card, destroy a monster, then activate "Creature Swap" and give your opponent a 0 ATK Attack Position monster.
