You can see how this deck is so powerful, because it eliminates the need to attack to tag-out. That usually means that I can get out a Secutor to ram into something, and get instant field advantage. Another option is to get out a Darius to revive any needed fusion material monsters from the grave, or get a needed Retiari to prevent Judgment Dragon, Or get a Laquari to roll over any threats, or get a Bestiari to kill a feared face-down, etc.

This deck is simple. This is what you do: 'Crystalize' a Crystal Beast monster, special summon it, tribute it for a monster, and get card advantage. You can synchro, too, through Emergency Teleport. There is easy access to LV 8 synchro monsters, due to Rescue Cat and Monarchs. Also, I can side-in Summoner Monk and Rose, Warrior of Revenge for speedy synchroing.

Ok, heres the series of things I want to happen during a duel with this deck: 1) I draw Terraforming 2) I activate it, and search out Zombie World or Geartown, the one I didn't draw 3) Activate Geartown 4) I set Zombie World, therefore destroying Geartown 5) I special summon Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon, a huge beatstick 6) I summon other monsters, and they attack any face-downs 7) Gadjiltron attacks directly.
+
I gave up on the Ancient Gear hybrid deck. Too inconsistant. Now, it is just plain Zombies. Pretty simple deck. Dump. Swarm. Synchro. Win. Some might say Zombies are dead after the recent ban, but Zombies never die - sorry about the pun.

The alternate strategy, which involes a Level 5 monster in my opponent's grave, a Plaguespreader Zombie to tune with it, and BRD to kill all monsters, including Geartown and... you know the the rest. This deck was inspired by a Demisetown deck I dueled, and Jetronix's Chain Town deck.
+
This deck takes advantage of Zombie World, which turns any monster in the grave or on the field into a brain-craving lunatic. It eliminates Monarchs, and tears up any card that relies on the Type of thier monsters (Plants). That means I can abuse Night's End Sorcerer, and destroy my opponent's grave, or steal any monster left with Zombie Master or Il Blud. It is still powerful, dispite the newly-formed list of destruction.

Ah, Generation Shift. Its my personal tech, and a great card. Tribute a Zombie Master that was about to die, and get another in my hand. Then, on my turn, I summon the Zombie Master in my hand, revive the other, and then use the revived Master's effect to revive anything I want. It works well with many more cards in this deck, too.
+
Other than that, there is not much left to explain. Jain, Lightsworn Paladin is for dumping and a beatstick, Raigeki Break is for card removal and dumping, and Dust Tornado is for Macro Cosmos, Royal Oppression, and other pesky continuous Spell/Traps.

keep retiari since your local meta is lightsworns & gladiator beast.also keep trapdust shoot since you have flip effects decks and trap heavy decks so that card can easily distrupt a stragey.solemn have 2 or 3.instead of Indomitable Gladiator Beast just add Shrink  equeste job is to add cards back to your hand.also to counter lightsworns add 3 Phantom Dragons since lightsworns have lots of special summons.--Gyzarus 20:56, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Latest revision as of 22:13, 4 May 2009

My Decks:

Yeah... so these are my decks. Due to my recent format change (OCG to TCG), I am left with slightly down-graded versions of all my decks, with only two Solemn Judgments.

Heres a few of my most favorite decks, as of now:

Gladiator Beast Deck

Extra Deck:

Side Deck:

Meet my main deck, the pinnacle of Gladiator evolution: Rescue Glads. It is more powerful, faster, and toolboxier (made up word) than its primitive predecessors. Here is how the Rescue Cat Engine works: 1) Summon Rescue Cat OR search it out with Summoner Monk 2) Tribute for a Test Tiger and a Gladiator Beast Samnite 3) Tribute Test Tiger to tag-out Gladiator Beast Samnite 4) Get any Gladiator Beast with its effect.

Lightsworn Deck

Extra Deck:

Side Deck:

If you dn't know about this deck, you've probably have been living in a cave for a couple years. This deck is extremely fast, and can OTK sometimes. It works by drawing, Milling, and controlling so much that the opponent will be asphixiated by the shock wave. This deck can deck-out, so it aims to win way before that. If you can stall, you win.

Due to the Milling effects of Lightsworns, this deck can take advantage of cards that work in the grave, like Necro Gardna and Plaguespreader Zombie. This deck can side into Twilight during game two, because Twilight lacks consistancy, and can't beat builds with more of it. It can even become a Monarch Deck, which destroys decks like Zombie World Synchro and even DARK and LIGHT Skill Drain builds.

Crystal Beast Deck

Extra Deck:

Side Deck:

This deck is simple. This is what you do: 'Crystalize' a Crystal Beast monster, special summon it, tribute it for a monster, and get card advantage. You can synchro, too, through Emergency Teleport. There is easy access to LV 8 synchro monsters, due to Rescue Cat and Monarchs.

Zombie World Deck

Extra Deck:

Side Deck:

I gave up on the Ancient Gear hybrid deck. Too inconsistant. Now, it is just plain Zombies. Pretty simple deck. Dump. Swarm. Synchro. Win. Some might say Zombies are dead after the recent ban, but Zombies never die - sorry about the pun.

My local Meta

 • Here are the decks I face often, in order:

1) Gladiator Beast

2) Lightsworns

3) Annoying flip effect and trap heavy builds

 • Thanks for your opinion. Post your advice together, but label which decks you are helping. Always keep in mind my local Meta. Thanks in advance. --bewk3 16:42, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
