"Jar", known as either "Pod" (ポッド Poddo) or "Pot" (ポット Potto) in Japanese, are a series of low-Level Flip Effect Monsters that help the controller and/or the opponent gain field and hand advantage. Because of their good effects, "Fiber Jar" and "Cyber Jar" have been Forbidden, while "Morphing Jar" has been Limited.

Most of the members of this series have a single eye as a distinguishing feature, and because of it resemble the flask form of Father from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
