- This card can be searched via "Creeping Darkness", "Summoner Monk", "Soul Rope", "Resonator Engine", "Mystic Tomato", "Sangan" and "Pandemonium".
- This card is potentially very useful in "Dark World" and "Fabled" Decks.
- Its first effect makes it easy to discard cards from your hand - notice that the discard is a cost.
- Its second effect makes it easy to retrieve "Dark World" monsters banished with "The Gates of Dark World" or "Allure of Darkness" (and it is a DARK Fiend itself, making it compatible with those cards).
- This card is also useful in an "Archfiend" Deck, allowing you to return "Stygian Street Patrol" to your hand.
- This card has synergy with "Hundred Eyes Dragon".
- When this card is destroyed, you can add a "Battle Fader" or "Genex Ally Birdman" you've used back to your hand.
- Use this card with "Infernity" monsters to quickly empty your hand.
- You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard using "Archfiend's Roar". At the End Phase, it gets destroyed, allowing you to use its second effect to get back one of your banished DARK monsters.
