− | ==Introduction==
| + | Yo, I'm Kankurou, the Wikia's manga guy. Savior of the 5D's and ZEXAL's mangas, father of the reconstructed effect template ("father" because I planted the seed, and Dino, the mother, developed and gave birth to it, lol) and random casual player. |
− | Hey there, I'm LegendaryAsariUgetsu, better known as Kankurou (as in Dueling Network) or Kankurou-sama (as in Neo Ark Cradle). I'm here just to try making the Wikia of one of the best anime/manga series always better.
| |
− | | |
− | You can expect me to update everything here about the latest chapters of the 5D's, ZEXAL and D Team ZEXAL manga series. And, as a personal note, I hate spam. Seriously, what the hell. No life morons.
| |
− | | |
− | ==Current goals here==
| |
− | ...which will be slowly done.
| |
− | | |
− | ===ZEXAL manga===
| |
− | * Complete the summaries for the Ranks with incomplete summary.
| |
− | ===5D's manga===
| |
− | * Review the chapter articles, cards and stuffs like that.
| |
− | ===GX manga===
| |
− | * Complete review + Adding the images of the cards in the card galleries.
| |
− | | |
− | ==Favorites==
| |
− | * Favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! (although I like all):
| |
− | ** Anime: 5D's.
| |
− | ** Manga: Duel Monsters (GX in second place).
| |
− | * Favorite characters: Crow Hogan, Gauche, Ryoga Kamishiro, Antinomy, Daichi Misawa, Ryo Marufuji, Atem (better known as Yami Yugi), etc.
| |
− | * Least favorite characters: Yuma Tsukumo, Judai Yuki, Jack Atlus, Bandit Keith, Weevil Underwood, etc.
| |
− | * Decks: Swarming, Burn, but mainly alternative (funny different playing styles) (although I actually like to make different Decks, so I play using all styles you can imagine).
| |
− | * Games: Dueling Network and for sure World Championship. I'd like very much to play Tag Force as well but damn emulators can't emulate it TT.TT.
| |
− | | |
− | ==Moments of Wisdom==
| |
− | * "Don't eat the yellow snow - it's peeeeeeeeee!!" - Jack Atlus, BBT Abridged. No more comments.
| |
− | * "Your Dueling skills are far inferior to mine." + "You are weird." - Astral, referring to Yuma (episodes 2 and 3, respectively). Seriously Yuma.
| |
− | * "...And that's your greatest weakness, Yusei!" - Antinomy to Yusei (about episode 144 I think). Just sleep with that in your mind, Yusei.
| |
− | * "The way you shuffle your deck - it hurts the cards" - Atem to Pandora (episode 60). Am I the only one here who treats the cards as if they'd dissolve if anyone touches them?
| |
− | * "If Exodia had a son, it'd come in parts" - My idiot friend to me.
| |
− | * "...But Dark Magician Girl is hot!!" - Every Yu-Gi-Oh! male fan's opinion, no discussion.
| |
− | * "A Duel isn't over until the last card is played!" and things like that - Several Yu-Gi-Oh! characters from several Yu-Gi-Oh! series. There is no way you can win if you don't believe in that. And seriously, incredible turnaround may happen in a Duel.
| |
− | * "You just Summoned your mom." - Yuma to Fuya in the dub (episode... 7?)
| |
− | | |
− | I'll be gonna update this section while I remember/see more nice quotes. 8)
| |
− | | |
− | ==Help With Decks(?)==
| |
− | | |
− | Just few tips of mine (think these apply mainly for beginners, but who knows they can help some experienced duelists too):
| |
− | * Don't put too many copies of a card in your deck unless it needs (like Nimble Momonga) or it is really important to your deck (like Toon World). The more cards it has the less chances of getting the right cards you need.
| |
− | * Explore the maximum out of your cards. Don't limit yourself to the basic. For example: if you are using a Deformer deck, put lots of cards like Zero Gravity to make yourself unpredictable. Make a weakness become an advantage, like combing Roaring Express Train Rocket Arrow with an Infernity deck.
| |
− | * A duel isn't over until someone loses. Always believe in your chances (but also prepare yourself well and always think on the next step, not only on the current).
| |
− | * Don't put cards which you think "oh if I can use this card with that one it may be useful". That was a mistake I did and will never more do. Add cards that will be useful, otherwise, Top-Decking will beat ya.
| |
− | * When building your deck, try noting it's weaknesses and covering it. It is easy by testing your deck sometimes and making some fixes before using it "officially".
| |
− | * Remember to think in all possibilities, and in most of the standard decks, always get prevented against meta things like S/Ts and enemy effects. Some people like to focus only on "power" and forget that nowadays virtually anything can be done with some nice effects in a duel - vide Jack Atlus VS Andore and VS Bommer's brother, for example.
