A Misprint is any card whose card appearance is not of the expected standard. Examples:
- A Card that looks like Trap Hole, but has the silver lettering of Fusion Gate
- A Card that looks like The Forceful Sentry, but has the silver lettering of Ryu Senshi
- A Card that looks like Giant Trunade, but has the silver lettering of Fiend Skull Dragon
- A Card that looks like Gaia the Fierce Knight, but has the silver lettering of Last Turn
- A Card that looks like Gearfried the Iron Knight, but has the silver lettering of Kuriboh
- A Card that looks like Goblin Attack Force, but has the Earth attribute picture replaced by a Level Star.
- A card that looks like Raiza The Storm Monarch That is the same but with silver outlines (around the level about 2mm of silver on the left attched to the star)
Also, two slightly more famous ones:
- Big Shield Gardna being misprinted as Big Shield Guardna
- Luster Dragon #2 printed with just "Luster Dragon".
