"Medallion" (
The series has not a single form of gameplay, although some of them do have similarities with each other. For example "Change Medallion" and "Medallion Record" have effects that negate Battle Damage or the activation of a card's effect. Similarly "Change Medallion" and "High Medallion Arts" are used to support the "Heraldic Beast" archetype used by Tron, by Special Summoning them to perform a fast Xyz Summon.
It should be noted that "Medallion of the Ice Barrier" is not considered part of the series, as it does not fit the theme, but it is technically a part of the related "Heraldic" archetype due to its Japanese name.
