Been wanting to make a Barbaros Ur deck for a while, but I couldn't figure out a good set of cards for the Machine-side of the deck, until the Super Defense Robots came out. I'm not entirely sure how well this'll work out, and I'm tempted to throw in a pair of Redoxes to help things, but I'm a bit leery on that. For now, just help me out with this with constructive criticism. Thanks. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 22:29, August 18, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, so testing this deck has revealed that it's pretty tight with the synergy, but it's also an "all or nothing" deck, with the duel going one way or another if I manage to get the cards I need to explode early. Also, I'm having issues getting out Grandsoil. I'm tempted to replace the Leotaurs with Bearman, but I'm concerned that I'd get stuck with no way of summoning a good Xyz monster with it other than Giantrainer. I would like some suggestions on these ideas and how to mitigate them. Thanks. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 20:32, September 1, 2013 (UTC)

I've found that Giant Rat is pretty good for getting to Elephan early on. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:44, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
I thought about Giant Rat, as well. Maybe as a side deck, but from my playtesting, I was able to get Elephan out pretty easily without it. Remember that the SDR can summon any of themselves out from the hand when Normal Summoned, including Elephan, so as long as I have Elephan and either Monki or Lio in my hand, I can instantly get out Googly-Eyes or one of the two two-material Gimmick Puppets. Also, is this the OCG list? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:14, September 2, 2013 (UTC)
Technically, no. This is going to be the deck for when the next set comes out in the TCG. Until then, pretend that the Felgrands aren't in the deck. Now that I think about it, I really need to update the extra deck, since I seem to be able to get out Rank 8s much easier than I can rank 3 or 4s.
