It is a sub-archetype of the "[[Galaxy]]", "[[Galaxy-Eyes]]", "[[Tachyon]]" and "[[Tachyon Dragon]]" archetype.
In the anime, Mizar would often used "Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" against [[Kite Tenjo|Kite]]'s "[[Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon]]" to determine who is the true "Galaxy-Eyes" master. "Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" relies on the effect of negating the monster or card on the field, while launching an additional attacks during each [[Battle Phase]] this turn after it uses its effects. Unlike "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", these monsters only support so far are from "Tachyon" cards, while "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" supports are from "[[Galaxy]]" and "[[Photon]]" cards.
