- This card can be Special Summoned with "Bahamut Shark". It can tribute itself as cost to negate an effect, which will trigger its last effect and retrieve itself or another WATER monster.
- Multiple copies of "Ronintoadin" can easily Summon this card.
- It can be sent from the Deck to the Graveyard with "Swap Frog" or "Foolish Burial".
- This card can also be easily Summoned in a "Paleozoic" Deck.
- Keep in mind that a "Paleozoic" Trap Card that was Special Summoned via its own effect cannot be send as a cost to activate this card's second effect.
- However, a "Paleozoic" Trap Card Special Summoned by its own effect can be send as cost if there is an effect(s) that prevent banishing from the field, such as "Imperial Iron Wall".
- Keep in mind that a "Paleozoic" Trap Card that was Special Summoned via its own effect cannot be send as a cost to activate this card's second effect.
