Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Graverobber can take any card from the opponent's Graveyard and activate its effect immediately, and the player did not lose 2000 Life Points as if it was a Spell Card. It was once activated from the hand, even though it was a Trap Card.
- Joey Wheeler used Graverobber in various duels, such as the one against Bandit Keith to steal his Time Machine and the Battle Royal to steal Marik's Spell of Pain.
- Joey Wheeler also used this in his Duel against Odion Ishtar, in this episode he was able to use "Foolish Burial" to put "Jinzo" in Odion's Graveyard and revive it with "Graverobber".
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
- In episode 10, Mr. Armstrong forces Yusei to send this card from his Deck to the Graveyard, with "Poison Chain".
