How should this be handled

Based on "Arc-V 012", DD stands for "Different Dimension" while DDD stands for "Different Dimension D(a)emon". But since we already have a series named "Different Dimension", what should be done with this one, since its different from the other one and can't be mixed together.--Supratim1986 (talk • contribs) 11:22, June 29, 2014 (UTC)

"DD" is an archetype. There's no meaning in renaming it or mixing it with another archetype/series. The other "D.D." has dots in English, and a completely different name in Japanese (and well, it's not an archetype). LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talk • contribs) 19:10, June 29, 2014 (UTC)

Picture

Say, to illustrate the article... I know colored pics are better, but in this case wouldn't the manga one be better? It shows Reiji as well, shows more monsters, and shows both "DD" and "DDD" monsters. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talk • contribs) 19:10, June 29, 2014 (UTC)

But since both the "DD" and "DDD" are differently categorized, i think that it would be better to use an image which shows only "DD" monster for this article (whether it be from manga or anime). Leaving only "DDDs" in the "DDD" article is perfect, since "DDs" are not "DDDs". But I think it'd be nice to have both "DDs" and "DDDs" in the "DD" article because "DDDs" are "DDs" as well. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talk • contribs) 14:34, June 30, 2014 (UTC)

Recommended cards

I think in the Recommended cards section of the article, in effect monsters, The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion should be added as an option. In case someone builds a deck that relies heavily on the Fusion Overlords of the series (makes sense), they may find it quite handy, it could even replace some slots of the Covenant with the Swamp King; The latter being costly and not wanted like the other Covenants in every round anyway -it ends up being a burden. So, Hex Sealed Fusion: the fusing card and one of the matterials also. All you need is a d/d to go for one of the two fusion overlords. --Igioh yougioh hegioh (talk • contribs) 04:17, July 3, 2015 (UTC)

It shouldn't be added. Fusion Substitute Monsters can only be used to replace monsters whose exact names are listed in the Fusion Monster's material requirements. All the Fusion Monsters in this archetype (currently) only list partial names, like "2 'D/D' monsters" or "2 'D/D/D' monsters", so it wouldn't work. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 04:34, July 3, 2015 (UTC)

The "Playing Style" Section

Should the "Playing Style" section be completely rewritten? It is my belief that much of the information in that section is either outdated, or completely focused on one or two of the combos this deck is capable of, especially as new cards for this archetype are revealed in the OCG and as cards come out in the TCG. I would be more than happy to devote time to typing up a new version of that section, I would just like to know if, as a collective, we deem that to be necessary. Feel free to do so. However, if you plan on making multiple edits over a period of time, I suggest you work in a sandbox first, like this: User:Cerebrallight/sandbox. Just copy the entire D/D page's contents into that sandbox page, and edit it until you think it's just right.
