- Detaching a material from this card and attaching the targeted monster to this card as a material happen simultaneously.[1]
Q&A Rulings
- Q: I activate the effect of "Number 76: Gradiel the Melody Lumaestra", targeting a "Linkuriboh" in my opponent's GY. If my opponent chains the effect of "Linkuriboh" and Special Summons it from the GY, how does the effect of "Number 76: Gradiel the Melody Lumaestra" resolve?
- A: If the targeted monster is no longer in your opponent's GY when resolving the effect of "Number 76: Gradiel the Melody Lumaestra", the part of the effect that detaches a material from it is applied normally, but the part of the effect that attaches the targeted monster to it is not applied.[2][3]
