- "Cyber Saurus" is one of two Machine-type Monsters based on a Dinosaur, the other being "Cyber Dinosaur".
- The irony of this card in the English version of the game was that this card, released in June 2002, required Two-Headed King Rex, which was not released until the following October in Tournament Pack 2nd Season. So there was no way to play this monster until the Fusion Substitute monsters were released in Tournament Pack 1st Season in September 2002.
