Your decks are very well made but i have a segestion for the "Gift" deck. You might want to add this card: The Paths of Destiny because ether way the opponent loses 2000 life points and you have a 50% chance of gaining 2000 (even if you lose 2000 Rain of Mercy should help manage the damage plus if the opponent dies from this it won't matter). Also you might want to swich the 3 Threatening Roar with Wabokus simply because Waboku can serve the same purpose but more effectively. I Hope my opinions help your deck Batboy267 13:46, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

* I feel that The Paths of Destiny, being a Trap, can be a little slow as it has to wait a turn to activate, and it can mean game if played at the wrong time. Second, Threatening Roar is also good at combatting against things that gain bonuses if they attack. Think Ancient Gear Engineer and the Gladiator Beasts - they both have their threats to the deck. --Gadjiltron 14:07, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Deck Contest 57
+
Hey, just had an interesting idea for contest 57, it might get more people to sign up. Seeing as Arv-V has come out and the show includes and showcases older summoning methods, why not challenge contestants to make a deck that can Ritual Summon, Synchro Summon, Xyz Summon, and maybe Fusion Summon? It's really crazy and we might get boring decks, but it might also be worth a shot. Thoughts? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:31, June 17, 2014 (UTC)

I never realised that about Threatening Roar..... ok well then i have nothing to say good luck with the deck :) Batboy267 22:26, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
+
:To make it more challenging, we could force them to use the non-effect Rituals, like Chakra and Zera the Mant. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:32, June 17, 2014 (UTC)

:(Knock knock) Might I contribute? How about not using cards like Instant Fusion or Advanced Ritual Art? That way, the deck would be limited to using less generic cards. And sort of thinking about how this might potentially bring a way to summon Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth. Thank you for helping those two guys on the Duel Terminal. I'm one of the editors of the Duel Terminal, and I just recently got back from a long hiatus, unfortunately the other editor seems to have gone inactive for good. Hey Gadji. I've returned from my stint of inactivity on the wiki, and it seems like you're one of my only friends left. How things change :/ just wondering if there's anything I could help out with around here, or even outside of this site. If you have any ideas to breathe new life to the wiki, I'd be willing to assist. I've considered reviving DFF, but I'm still unsure about it, especially since I don't know if there'd be 3-4 other skilled deckbuilders willing to help. If you'd be interested, let me know. Also, if it's a terrible idea, let me know, haha. Thanks! Synchro Maniac10 (talk • contribs) 23:32, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Gadjiltron. IDK if u remember me, but I'm the guy with the Advanced Junk Deck. You gave me some tips on it way back. Think you can do it again? If you can get the chance, great. Until then, I'll be waitin'. The Deck name on the Deck help forum is Advanced Junk/Quillbolt Loop Deck(disregard the Quillbolt Loop when commenting on my Deck; the Loop is just a side strategy). Also, I really like your junkyard wars deck. I really like the name & the concept. --E-Dizzle 17:11, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

:Sorry, didn't receive a notification of your reply for some reason. I'm certainly willing to help with guides for now, just may require some time to get used to, since I've never done an official deck guide before. Just tell me where we'll start. Anything else that you want help with I'm willing to try to help as well. P.S. Also, maybe archive your talk page? I had to scroll forever to get to the 9th circle of hell here, haha. Hey, just wondering where you got the wording for the page title "WCS 2023 Regional Qualifiers from, as I've seen quite a lot of promotional material refer to it as "WCS 2023 Qualifiers" instead. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 02:45, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
* I have edited the page so that it will only have the decks for the competition and the questions have all been removed. I have listed that entering is over and who the competitors are, and set the deadline for next Wednesday, which will be the deadline for every contest from now on, so that we don't run out of ideas after a month from having one every day. dude if a gladiator beast monster is special summon after battle phase can it still attack and start another battle phase again if all-out attacks is face up and active on the field ?

No. At that time, it will be unable to attack, and thus the turn proceeds as usual. Note that All-Out Attacks mean "attack if able". Thus if it cannot attack because it is at the end of the Battle Phase, nothing happens. --Gadjiltron 05:08, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey Gadjiltron, would you mind helping me with my build of Koa'ki Meirus? I know that you did the Koa'ki Meiru Guide, so... yeah, I've basically merged Rock STUN with pure Koa'ki Meirus and I think it's pretty decent. Would you mind looking it over and telling me what you think? It can be seen here Gallery. --Tantara (talk) 23:44, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

* Yeah, I got your point there... Anyways, I realized that I was down three cards, so I added a pair of Rai-Ohs and swapped out some unimportant staples to make room for three Reckless Greed which I believe will make up for the speed lost in Compression. Thanks for your input! Anyways, I forgot to explain the deck, it uses only two types (excluding Rai-Oh), Beast-Warrior and Rock, which include the best all-purpose Koa'ki Meirus. This will allow the deck to better take on a general meta direction, not just countering LIGHT and DARK based decks. --Tantara (talk) 05:00, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Anti-Heal/Nurse Reficule Decks
Hi Gadjiltron, personally I think the Anti-Heal decks can fall under a Slow and Quick Burn deck depending on the build. As you already mentioned they have the Gift Card OTK, but it is also possible to inflict large amounts of damage in a tun by using Reficule with Upstart Goblin, Rain of Mercy and Soul Taker etc. I do agree that it can take some setup sometimes, but then again most decks with OTK potential take some time to get the rid setup these days. --Trivi-AM (talk) 12:13, November 29, 2009 (UTC)

I noticed that you are in charge of the Slow Burn guide.

I consider myself to be pretty good at making burn decks.

Probably not real good, but I try.

I noticed that you have not posted an example of a slow burn deck yet.

The following deck is my own creation and works well enough for my own purposes.

Perhaps you could consider using it in it's current form as your example

of a Slow Burn deck. Here it is:

As your guide suggests (and it is true)...
This deck is highly back-row dependent.
In order to get it's back-row in place, it uses a draw engine based on Des Lacooda.
Swarm of Locusts is for spell and trap destruction
to clear the way for the Raging Flame Sprite to make direct attacks.
Stealth Bird serves as a secondary source of burn.
Lava Golem and Penguin Soldier are on anti-monster duty!
Snipe Hunter can take advantage of any extra cards in my hand and can destroy almost anything!
And.... I think you can figure out the rest!

I would be honored to see my deck used as an example burn deck.
If you decide to use it... please simply credit: AceCloudKicker.

If you decide not to use it... it's okay too.
I'd also enjoy any feedback you wish to give me on my deck.
It's won me many "just for fun" duels and a few serious ones too.
It has done okay in tournaments. But, it has obviously never taken one.
It is just a Burn Deck after all and I prefer to duel for fun.

Thanks for taking the time to read this message.
I hope you consider my deck worthy to be placed in the guide.
Thanks in advance,
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
I would like to make a little note that the example Decks posted in my guides are purposely left with a few gaping flaws, mainly to encourage those who choose to follow it to find their own ways to improve it.
Your Deck need not be particularly spectacular if it's going to be an example Deck - just as long as it can demonstrate the general strategy, it's okay.
Once again, thanks for taking the trouble to make an example Deck. I may edit it a little though, before it goes into the guide. --Gadjiltron 11:20, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

Deck Contest 57[edit]

Hey, just had an interesting idea for contest 57, it might get more people to sign up. Seeing as Arv-V has come out and the show includes and showcases older summoning methods, why not challenge contestants to make a deck that can Ritual Summon, Synchro Summon, Xyz Summon, and maybe Fusion Summon? It's really crazy and we might get boring decks, but it might also be worth a shot. Thoughts? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:31, June 17, 2014 (UTC)

To make it more challenging, we could force them to use the non-effect Rituals, like Chakra and Zera the Mant. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:32, June 17, 2014 (UTC)
(Knock knock) Might I contribute? How about not using cards like Instant Fusion or Advanced Ritual Art? That way, the deck would be limited to using less generic cards. And sort of thinking about how this might potentially bring a way to summon Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth. Chromace (talkcontribs) 09:51, June 17, 2014 (UTC)
I'll think about that when pondering over the next non-pack WDC. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 11:04, June 17, 2014 (UTC)
That sounds even better. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:23, June 20, 2014 (UTC)

Simple Question[edit]

Hey, Gadjiltron, sorry to bother you, but I see you answer a lot of ruling questions, and I have a fairly simple one I want confirmation on. Thanks in advance, if you do look at it. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Espiritual_Beasts%3F?t=20150102235146 Mr.Prozac (talkcontribs) 16:24, January 16, 2015 (UTC)contribs) 16:23, January 16, 2015 (UTC)

I'm Back[edit]

Thanks! Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 23:32, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Sorry, didn't receive a notification of your reply for some reason. First Deck Guide - Burning Abyss[edit]

Finished the Burning Abyss guide, or the rough draft at least. Thoughts? Did I leave something out? P.S. If you want to do a talk page for the guide, here it is, but it seems to be just you and I for now, so you could just leave me a message. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 03:32, January 29, 2015 (UTC)

Just want ya to know that your deck guides are the best around, but the ones I like are the ones where you say how many of a card you should have such as, the Crystal Beast Guide. So, please try to continue to make guides like that one I would really appreciate it.--Dashadowman (talkcontribs) 20:29, June 13, 2015 (UTC)

WCS 2023 Regional Qualifiers[edit]

Hey, just wondering where you got the wording for the page title "WCS 2023 Regional Qualifiers from, as I've seen quite a lot of promotional material refer to it as "WCS 2023 Qualifiers" instead. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:45, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
