The October 2004 Forbidden and Limited Lists were Forbidden and Limited lists in the TCG, going into effect on October 1, 2004.[1]
This list updated the previous August 2004 list which had announced in advance that 13 cards were going to change status from Limited to Forbidden, starting October 1. But in addition to that, once October 1 came by, another 5 cards were declared Limited as well.
The first major event to enforce this list, Pharao-Tour Stuttgart 2004, would actually happen 2 weeks prior on September 18. An unusual decision made to ensure that all Pharao-Tour 2004 tournaments would adhere to the new Advanced Format uniformly.[2][3]
