"Shield Wing":

In episode 25, Yusei Fudo used this card in his Turbo Duel with Jack Atlas. He summoned this card on the first turn of the Duel. Jack then attacked this card with "Twin-Sword Marauder". This card's effect prevented it from being destroyed by the attack, but "Twin-Sword Marauder" then inflicts piercing damage to Yusei due to its effect. "Twin-Sword Marauder" then attacks this card again due to its effect. This card's effect again prevented it from being destroyed by the attack, but "Twin-Sword Marauder" then once again inflicts piercing damage to Yusei. Yusei then summons "Junk Synchron" to the field. He then tunes this card with "Junk Synchron" to Synchro Summon "Junk Warrior".

In episode 45, Yusei used this card in his Ground Duel against Roman Goodwin. He summons it on the first turn of the Duel. Roman soon Dark Synchro Summons "Underground Arachnid" to the field. He then uses the latter monster's effect to equip this card to it. "Underground Arachnid" then attacks Yusei directly. Yusei later Synchro Summons "Road Warrior" to the field. He then attacks "Underground Arachnid" with "Road Warrior", but the former monster's effect then destroys this card to prevent "Underground Arachnid" from being destroyed, but Roman still takes Battle Damage.

In episode 73, Yusei used this card in his Turbo Duel against Jack. He summoned this card on the first turn of the Duel. Jack then attacked this card with "Twin-Sword Marauder". This card's effect prevented it from being destroyed by the attack, but "Twin-Sword Marauder" then inflicts piercing damage to Yusei due to its effect. "Twin-Sword Marauder" then attacks this card again due to its effect. This card's effect again prevented it from being destroyed by the attack, but "Twin-Sword Marauder" then once again inflicts piercing damage to Yusei. Jack then Special Summons "Sword Master" from his hand due to its effect. "Sword Master" then attacks and destroys this card as this card's effect had already been used twice. "Sword Master" then inflicts piercing damage to Yusei. After Yusei Normal Summons "Junk Synchron", he uses the latter's effect to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard with its effects negated. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he remembers that Jack told him his current idea for not using Synchro Monsters in a Duel was weak.

In episode 96, this card appears in Yusei's hand during his Turbo Duel against Andre. In the next episode, Yusei summons this card onto the field. Andre then Normal Summons "Nimble Momonga". He then Special Summons "Egotistical Ape" by sending "Nimble Momonga" from his hand to the Graveyard. Andre then activates the effect of "Egotistical Ape", increasing its Level by the Level of "Nimble Momonga". Yusei then activates "Shield Coat" to double this card's DEF. Andre then tunes "Nimble Momonga" with "Egotistical Ape" to Synchro Summon "Naturia Leodrake". "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest" then attacks this card, but the latter isn't destroyed due to its effect. "Behemoth the King of All Animals" then attacks this card, but the latter is not destroyed due to its effect. "Naturia Leodrake" then attacks and destroys this card as the latter's effect had already been used twice. Later Yusei Normal Summons "Debris Dragon". He then activates the latter's effect to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard with its effects negated. Yusei then activates "Speed Spell - Vision Wind" to Special Summon "Speed Warrior" from the Graveyard. Yusei then tunes this card and "Speed Warrior" with "Debris Dragon" to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".

In episode 145, during Yusei's Turbo Duel against Antinomy, this card was one of the top five cards that Yusei found when he activated the second effect of "Shooting Star Dragon".

Yusei uses this card during his Assault Mode Duel with Jack Atlas. He summons it on the first turn of the Duel. On Jack's turn, "Red Dragon Archfiend" attacks this card. Due to this card's effect, it is not destroyed in battle, but then, "Red Dragon Archfiend's" effect activates, as it attacked a Defense Position monster, and destroys this card. On Yusei's next turn, this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard by the effect of "Debris Dragon" while "Quillbolt Hedgehog" is also Special Summoned from the Graveyard, as Yusei controlled a Tuner monster. Yusei then tunes this card and "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with "Debris Dragon" to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".
