"Spell Shield Type-8":

This card can be useful against the following cards: "Nobleman of Crossout", "Brain Control", "Snatch Steal" and "Shield Crush".
- Other cards that can be stopped by this card are "Offerings to the Doomed", "Tribute to The Doomed" or "Magical Dimension".
  - This card can also negate "Fissure" and "Smashing Ground", but only when it's a tie and your opponent has to choose and target one of your monsters, otherwise it will NOT work. Same for a card like "Hammer Shot: It does NOT target and thus "Spell Shield Type-8" will NOT work against it either.

Discard "Magical Blast" to activate this card's second effect, then return "Magical Blast" to the hand later via its effect for a virtually cost-free activation and Spell destruction.
