- As this card increases its own ATK points and can cause Piercing damage, it is an ideal card for playing with "Light of Intervention" and "Micro Ray".
- Use "Zero Gravity", "Windstorm of Etaqua" or "Enemy Controller" to move your opponent's Monsters into Defense Position.
- Equip this card with "Armory Arm" for A LOT of damage.
- Once this card is in play, you can also activate "Stumbling", forcing all opposing monsters into Defense Position when they are summoned.
- When you have this card on the field, Normal Summon "Blackwing - Elphin the Raven". You can Normal Summon it without Tributing and use its effect to switch an opponent's monster into Defense Position.
- Equip this with "Ballista of Rampart Smashing" to increase its ATK by 1500, then 500 by its own effect, so it'll have 4300 ATK for piercing.
- If your opponent has a defense position monster, use this card with "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn" to inflict large amounts of damage. This strategy can easily defeat your opponent before they have a chance to summon "Gorz the Emissary of Darkness" or "Tragoedia", or have Flip-Effects like "Morphing Jar 2" or "Penguin Soldier" activate. This strategy also works especially well if your opponent already has powerful monsters, and you activate "Ojama Trio", or if they previously used "Scapegoat".
- Use this card with "Book of Moon" to help make use of its effect.
- This card works well against some stall cards like "Spirit Reaper" and "Marshmallon", due to their low DEF, and the Piercing damage will take your opponent slowly.
- You can also use this card with "Blackwing - Fane the Steel Chain"; Attack Directly with it, use its ability to switch 1 monster to defense position that was in attack mode, and then attack it with this card.
