- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Broken Blocker", "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Mimiclay", "Where Arf Thou?", "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing", "Fabled Grimro", "One for One", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Ties of the Brethren", "Painful Escape", "Stygian Security", "Rai-Mei", "Photon Veil", "Shining Angel", "Chaos Zone" and "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World".
- Combo this card with any card that discards for cost, like some of the Fabled or even Dark World.
- Combine this card with "The Tricky"/"The Fabled Chawa"/"The Fabled Nozoochee" to Special Summon two Monsters.
- In a Fabled/Dark World deck, this card can be used to ease the requirements for the extremely situational Level 9 Synchro Monsters.
- Discard this for the cost of "Fabled Kushano" to Special Summon him, and return "Kushano" from your grave to your hand. Find a way to summon "Sillva, Warlord of Dark World" or "Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World", then Normal Summon "Fabled Kushano" and Synchro. With proper situations met, this can be done with as little as 1 card ("Lurrie") in your hand.
- Use "Fabled Lurrie" to make "Formula Synchron" in a Ragin Turbo Deck to have access to "Shooting Quasar Dragon".
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest" and "Last Will".
- Using "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier", 2 "Fabled Lurries" and "Card of Safe Return", you can draw through your entire deck. Simply discard 1 "Lurrie" to return the other to your hand, resulting in the discard "Lurrie" being Special Summoned, giving you a draw. Do this until you have drawn whatever you need to win.
