Vampire (ヴァンパイア) is an archetype of Zombie-Type monsters. Though supported by the manga-only card "Blood Curse", there are no "Vampire" support cards in the OCG/TCG ("Overpowering Eye" supports Vampires in the Manga, but its OCG/TCG version was changed to support any Zombie-Type monster).
Camula in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, and Tilla Mook in Yu-Gi-Oh! R, use "Vampire"-themed Decks.
The original name of "Vampire Orchis" is 「-ブラッド・オーキス-」 (Blood Orchis) and the original name of "Vampire Koala" is 「きゅうけつコアラ」 (Bloodsucking Koala), so they are both excluded from cards that supports "Vampire" monsters. However, "Red-Moon Baby" is part of this archetype because its original name is 「ヴァンパイア ・ ベビー 」 (Vampire Baby).
Trivia
- The Vampires are probably a reference to Castlevania, a serie of games of Konami.
- "Vampire Lord" being Dracula, "Vampire Genesis" being Dracula transformed and "Vampire Lady" being Carmilla.
