- Although this card is based on a Stegosaurus, it does not have the four tail spikes seen on the real animal; instead, it has a stinger resembling that of scorpions.
- The Bandai version of this card is a Level 5 monster with 1000 ATK and 2100 DEF, whereas the Konami version is a Level 6 monster with 1750 ATK and 2030 DEF.
- This is one of three Dinosaur-Type cards that include "Dragon" in its card name, the other two being "Crawling Dragon 2" and "Root Dragonwood".
