- If your opponent owns a monster like "Chaos Necromancer" that gains power equal to the number of monsters in the grave x 300, don't use Marine Neos's effect until you've defeated it. This tip can apply to any monster.
- Use "Paradox Fusion" to keep this card alive longer.
- Since this card doesn't technically Discard a card from your opponent's hand, they can't activate effects of monsters such as "Dark World" or "Fabled".
- Using "Miracle Contact" using "Elemental HERO Neos" and "King of the Swamp" you can Special Summon this card easily. For more power, you can use the effect Elemental HERO Prisma on Neos, use "Wrath of Neos" and then use "Miracle Contact" to destroy your opponent's field AND hand.
- This card is almost useless against a "Madolche" deck
