• This card is the first Zombie-Type Xyz Monster.
  • This card is currently the strongest Zombie-Type and "Number" monster in terms of ATK.

• This card is the first Xyz Monster that can only be Summoned by Xyz Summoning it. It cannot be summoned from the Graveyard or Banished Zone.

• The kanji in this card's Japanese name, "不乱健 Furan Ken" can also be read as "Un-Rebelling Strength".
  • This card is similar to Marvel's The Incredible Hulk in appearance and massive strength.

• This card's name and appearance are a reference to the famous "Frankenstein's monster" and possibly a Ken doll, bringing together Cologne's love for dolls and her Gothic style.
  • Also, the second published edition of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, which was the first where she -- a woman -- was credited as the author was published in 1822. This, combined with how Fran Ken's weakness was revealed in Rank 18, makes it very possible that Fran Ken's number is a further reference to Frankenstein.
  • This card's manga-only effect of not being able to attack female monsters may reference the behavior of the Frankenstein monster in Frankenstein. In the novel, the monster asks his creator, Victor Frankenstein, to make him a female counterpart so he wouldn't be lonely after he was rejected by humans.

• This is the first "Number" monster released in the OCG which requires a specific Attribute to be Xyz Summoned.
  • However this is the third "Number" that requires a specific Attribute to be Xyz Summoned in the anime or manga. The other two, whose requirements are anime-only, are "Number 96: Dark Mist" and "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet Heaven's String".

• This card is one of only two cards with a gender-specific effect; the other is the anime-only effect of "Shadow of Eyes".

• This card has similar stats to "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" in terms of ATK, Rank, and card effect (in the manga).
