OCG Rulings
- This card is a Normal Summon Monster.[1]
- "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" and "Dark Simorgh" are Normal Summon Monsters, so they can be Tribute Summoned from the hand. They may also be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with another card effect, even if the monster is sent directly to the Graveyard from the hand or Deck.[2]
- You can remove from play a Dragon-Type Token Monster from the field to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".[3]
Semi-Official
- The OCG text specifies that you must remove from play a face-up Dragon-Type monster to Special Summon. You cannot remove from play a face-down monster.[1]
