- This card is the Cover Card for Ancient Prophecy.
- This card appears in the artwork of "Ancient Sunshine" and "Fairy Breath".
- "Ancient Fairy Dragon" is similar to Leo's "Power Tool Dragon" in that they both search for a type of Spell Card and each dragon's effect involves destroying that Spell Card.
- It's also similar to Leo's "Life Stream Dragon" as it increases your life points.
- This card's background resembles "Ancient Forest".
- In both the games and the anime, this card is considered the greatest threat to the "Earthbound Immortals", since they gain their power from Field Spells.
- Out of the six Signer Dragons, this card has the lowest ATK and highest DEF.
- This is also the only Signer Dragon who's ATK is less than its DEF.
- And out of the six Signer Dragons, this card has the 2nd highest combined ATK and DEF (the first being "Life Stream Dragon".)

- This card's healing effect may represent Luna's willingness to help and save her friends whenever they are in grave danger.
- This card and "Black-Winged Dragon" are the only Signer Dragons without legs.
- Judging from the appearance, name, and type of this card, It can be assumed that she is the advanced form of "Fairy Dragon".
