- Use "Magic Reflector" to prolong the life of cards essential to certain deck types, like "Toon World" in a Toon Deck, "Mokey Mokey Smackdown" in a "Mokey Mokey" Deck and "Neo Space" in a Neo-Spacian Deck.
- You can use "Magic Reflector" to protect cards like "Wave-Motion Cannon", so it is insured to last longer and deal more damage, or "Field Barrier" to make your Field Spells practically indestructible.
- Works best for decks that depend on certain Field Spells as their life line. e.g. "Pandemonium", "A Legendary Ocean", "Fusion Gate", etc.
- You can use this in a deck that relies on "Dimensional Fissure".
- You can use this card to protect your Clock Tower Prison in a Destiny Heroes deck to to ensure enough counters accumulate to summon Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster or prolong the effect of not taking any battle damage.
