• This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Broken Blocker", "Chaos Zone", "Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior", "Magician's Circle", "Spellbook Star Hall", "The Grand Spellbook Tower", "Fool of Prophecy", "Reaper of Prophecy", "Temperance of Prophecy", "Justice of Prophecy", "Dark Renewal", "Lemon Magician Girl", "Ebon High Magician" and "Magician's Navigate".

• Use this card in a Prophecy/Spellbook deck. This will supply it with a constant stream of recyclable spell cards to boost its ATK.
  • A combination of "The Grand Spellbook Tower" and multiple copies of "Spellbook of Secrets" and "Spellbook of Power" creates a recycling engine which allows a minimum of 2-3 Spellbooks to be activated per turn.
  • "Spellbook of Power" provides an extra 1000 ATK boost to compensate for low initial ATK, while also helping to search for more Spellbooks to further boost "Dark Red Enchanter".

• "Miracle Restoring" can be used after Summoning "Dark Red Enchanter".

• "Tempest Magician" and "Magical Citadel of Endymion" provide significant hand advantage over your opponent.

• "Spell Power Grasp" can be used to give this card 2 quick Spell Counters, which can give Dark Red Enchanter an ATK boost and is ideal for fuelling her discard effect.

• Use "Magical Dimension" to summon this card easily, though she wont get her spell counters.
  • To lessen this drawback, summon her in defense position to have a 2200 wall only 100 points below what her attack would be if she were normal summoned.

• First, use "Soul Release" to banish any monsters in your opponent's graveyard, then you can summon "Gilasaurus" with its effect without giving your opponent any field advantage. Then, since its effect makes it a special summon, tribute it to summon "Dark Red Enchanter" quick and easy in one turn.

• While "Dark Red Enchanter" is on the field, use "Toon Table of Contents" to search out another "Toon Table of Contents", then activate it to search out another one, and finally, search "Toon World" and activate it, giving "Dark Red Enchanter" 4 spell counters to use to make your opponent discard 2 cards.

• Use "Magical Blast" to help it gain Spell Counters.

• Activate quick spells during the battle phase (i.e. Mystical Space Typhoon) to increase the ATK of this monster and win the battle (the quick spell itself does not need to have an ATK increasing effect). During your own battle step you can also reveal a Pitch-Black Power Stone and shift one of its counters to this monster to increase its ATK. This srategy can be used as well after summoning this card during battle phase with Magician's Circle. After the battle phase use the gained counters to activate the effect of this card.

Traditional Format

• This card can be searched by "Spellbook of Judgment".

• Summon this card while "Gearfried the Iron Knight" is on the Field. Equip Gearfried with "Butterfly Dagger - Elma". Continuously do so, using both cards effects to bring this card's ATK as high as you desire.

• Use this card with Giant Trunade.
  • You get a spell counter. (=> +300 ATK)
  • Your opponents backrow is blown away => safe attack
  • Your opponents backrow is given to his hand which you can reduce with the effect of this monster.
  • You can use again another spell card you might have had on the field already to further increase the number of spell counters on this monster.
