I suggest the author of the list look at the parts of the article, that is not a list. Write content like that. Mention the "recommended cards" in that part. The idea of these Deck pages is to tell people how a Deck works. You can do that in structured paragraphs at the same time mentioning cards that should be included. Adding lists is something similar to but not quite netdecking. Loads of Deck pages have been deleted by different editors for being just a list of cards. That would imply that simply adding lists of cards is not considered notable. -- [[User:Deltaneos|Deltaneos]] ([[User talk:Deltaneos|talk]]) 18:59, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

It's just adding opinion, on account of netdecking. Spell Economics and stuff are worth second looks. You may have never known of Spell Economics until now. All those cards would be awkward in the deck summary.

And for that other guy, Dark Mage Grl isn't bad, and it wouldn't hurt to add in spellcast support. Toon Alligator straight down sucks.

ruling error?

This page suggests you use Scapegoat because Toon monsters are special summons, but the Scapegoat page says you can't special summon either.--DarkMastero 01:38, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

  • That's why you activate Scapegoat during your opponent's turn. The Summoning restriction only applied during the turn you use Scapegoat.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 01:41, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

This deck would never work. Only one Toon World?

- It's not a Deck List. Merely Deck Content Suggestions. Quantities are left to the individual. --TwoTailedFox 17:25, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

- Nobody said how many of each card should be put into the deck... the person building this deck knows how many of each card to put into it. just because the list doesn't say how many cards are to be put into the deck it doesnt mean put in one of each card. This is a great deck (i added some cards that could make it better and took out the bad ones) and could do very well in the hands of a skilled duelist.

Advanced Format

Exclude Thousand-Eyes Restrict from the list.

Toon Dark Magician Girl not really needed?

Why does it say that Toon Dark Magician Girl is "not really needed"? Toon Dark Magician Girl can attack the oponent's LP directly with 2000 points worth of ATK power in the same turn she is summoned. Plus she's a Special Summon which makes it easier to summon her by normal summoning a low-leveled Monster and tributing it. That's a 2000 LP slap to your opponent in 1 turn easily! -- Melik el-Al'ab 18:43, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

I have no idea; Toon Dark Magician Girl is mandatory for a Toon deck. Actually, the recommendations here are all bad; listing Toon Alligator, recommending Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon, and so on. --Crab Helmet 19:09, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
This is Elemental Heroe Deck revisited, can we ditch the list? Worthwhile ones can be mentioned in the body the article. If the reader wants to add others they can look at {{Toon}} -- Deltaneos 19:12, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
I agree with this. The most important cards (TTOC, TDMG, and so on) need to be mentioned, but beyond that listing every card in the game with "Toon" in its name doesn't help anyone.--Crab Helmet 19:19, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Magician's Circle

If you attack with a Toon Masked Sorcerer and activate Magician's Circle to special summon a Toon Dark Magician Girl from your deck does Toon Masked Sorcerer's effect miss the timing? — This unsigned comment was made by 64.79.179.254 (talkcontribs) 14:42, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

No. If the other player doesn't Summon a monster with "Magician's Circle", "Toon Masked Sorcerer's" attack will continue after "Toon Dark Magician Girl" is Summoned. If the other player does Summon a monster, a Replay occurs. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:10, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Philiosophical-Psychological Informist Togekiss 19:11, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Masked Sorcerer FORCES you to draw. However, if a monster suddenly appears on the opposing field when you try to attack, you choose: to attack anyone else/negate the attack alltogether.

Adding lists of recommended cards

There is an edit war on this page over the inclusion of a list of cards. See the page history for more the arguements either way so far.
