"Fusion" (フュージョン Fyūjon) or "Polymerization" (
"Diffusion Wave-Motion" is not a "Fusion" card because it does not have 「フュージョン」 in its Japanese name.
The basic card in this archetype is "Polymerization", whose support has evolved, thanks to "Elemental HERO"-based Decks, whose basic strategy relies on Fusion Summoning your weaker monsters for stronger monsters. Cards such as "King of the Swamp" and "Fusion Sage" can help shuffle "Polymerization" out of your Deck into your hand. "Elemental HERO Woodsman" and "Monster Eye" are good for recycling the card from your Graveyard.
Keep in mind that not all cards that can Fusion Summon include "Fusion" or "Polymerization" in their names, and not all "Fusion" cards can Fusion Summon. Many of the cards released in the OCG/TCG now have a special support card, "Synchro Fusionist", which, if it is used in a Synchro Summon, can search out any Spell Card from your Deck if "Fusion" (except for "Diffusion Wave-Motion") or "Polymerization" is in its name.
