- This card can be searched with "Sangan", "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth", "One for One", or "Mother Grizzly".
- Use this card in an "Ice Barrier" deck. This card + "Dai-sojo of the Ice Barrier" or "General Raiho of the Ice Barrier" make an easy "Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier".
- This card is useful in Fish decks with "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth". Use Coelacanth's effect and summon 2 "Oyster Meisters", 1 "Royal Swamp Eel", and this card. First, tune "Fishborg Launcher" with the 2 "Oyster Meisters" to make "Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier". Then, Synchro Summon "T.G. Hyper Librarian" using "Royal Swamp Eel" with 1 of the "Oyster Tokens" from "Oyster Meister". Finally, use this card's effect (assuming your Graveyard is still all WATER monsters as it should be) to Special Summon him from the Graveyard. Then, tune this card with the other "Oyster Token" and "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth" to make "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" to banish your opponent's cards and draw a card.
