"Recollection Toward Antiquity - Durbe and Hakuba, the Legendary Illusion" is the one hundredth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japan on April 21, 2012.
With the mysterious boy "Nasch" in tow, Yuma and Astral head to the deepest depths of the ruins where the "Number" sleeps, but they come across a spirit guarding the "Number". In order to get the "Number", Yuma challenges the spirit to a Duel, but this Duel has a trick interwoven into it. Due to it, Nasch and Shark are captured. Yuma must help the two of them somehow, and the tips to solve this trap are hidden in the murals all over the ruins, written in ancient letters. In the depths of this struggle, Nasch demonstrates an amazing ability!

Yuma attacks Mach's Set Monster with "Gagaga Magician", which turns out to be "Manipulative Druid Wyd" (0/1800). Mach uses the effect of "Wyd", activating "Labyrinth of Decision" from his hand. Mach also discards 2 cards to activate his set "Unfair Treaty", which makes Yuma pay the costs of all Continous Spell Cards Mach controls. "Gagaga Kid" attacks Mach directly (Mach 4000 → 2700). Mach activates the effect of "Labyrinth of Decision", paying 600 life points to discard 1 card from Yuma's hand, but due to "Unfair Treaty", Yuma pays the cost instead (Yuma 4000 → 3400). Yuma also discards "Gogogo Golem" due to the effect of "Labyrinth of Decision". Yuma overlays his 2 Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia" (2500/2000) in Attack Position. Yuma ends his turn.
Turn 3: Mach
Mach Normal Summons "Manipulative Druid Drewes" (1800/0), and uses its effect to Special Summon back "Wyd" from his graveyard. Mach overlays his 2 Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon "Number 44: White Sky Horse - Sky Pegasus" (1800/1600) in Attack Position. Mach activates the effect of "Sky Pegasus", detaching 1 Xyz Material to destroy "Utopia", but Yuma can pay 500 LP to negate the effect. Yuma does so (Yuma 3400 → 2900). Mach activates another effect of "Sky Pegasus", which inflicts additional damage to Yuma equal to the amount of LP he just paid (Yuma 2900 → 2400). Mach ends his turn.
