This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Dwarf Star Dragon Planeter" and "Chaos Zone". However, it is likely to be more useful if sent directly to the graveyard, by a card like "Foolish Burial".

Use "Call of the Haunted" or "Oasis of Dragon Souls" during your opponent's turn to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, at a time when it will disrupt your opponent's strategy the most, and will also mean you avoid the loss of your battle phase.

Since this card's effect prevents you from entering the Battle Phase, it can be Special Summoned by "Soul Charge" with little consequence.
- You can use this card in a Zombie Deck if you have a "Zombie World"

To maximize its effect, use "Swords of Revealing Light" before Special Summoning it to flip all your opponent's hidden monsters to deliver a devastating blow. Just be wary of Flip Effects when doing this.
- You can instead use this with "Ceasefire" which prevents Flip Effects from activating and could also be activated on your opponent's turn as a combo with "Call of the Haunted".
