- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Painful Escape", "Transmodify", "Chaos Zone", "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World", "Dwarf Star Dragon Planeter", "Magical Contract Door", "Dark Contract with the Gate" and "D/D/D Human Resources".
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston" and "The First Monarch".
- Tribute a "Hieratic" monster (such as "Tefnuit", "Eset", "Nebthet", or "Su") to also Special Summon a Dragon-Type Normal Monster to set up for a Synchro Summon (with "Galaxy Serpent" or "Flamvell Guard") or a Rank 7 Xyz Summon (with "Hyozanryu", "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", etc.).
- Fiend-Type "Fabled" monsters pair well with this card, as they can be used as Tributes for the Summon of "Pendragon" or have their effects activated when discarded to fuel this card's second effect.
- This card works well in a "Red-Eyes" Deck. This is due to the Deck already having Fiend-Type and Dragon-Type monsters, such as "Summoned Skull" and "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", respectively.
- This also allows you to Xyz Summon Rank 7 monsters with this card and "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" or "Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon".
