  • Combine this card with "Imperial Iron Wall" for a Level 1 Tuner monster that can continually be reused for Synchro Summon Level ladders.
    • This also works well with "Jet Synchron". As such, it's a good idea to run both, so they can be re-Summoned to get two Synchros off each turn instead of one thanks to their once per turn restrictions.
    • If your "Imperial Iron Wall" is not out, "Tuning Magician" could instead used for a Rank 1 Xyz Summon, which would prevent it from being banished as it won't "leave the field" if its detached, because it won't be on the field at all, giving it a another chance to be used later.
  • This card's effect doesn't activate if Flip Summoned, so if possible, one can Flip Summon it to get a free Synchro without the detrimental effects of the card activating.
  • After Summoning this monster, and therefore using its effect to give your opponent LP, then Synchro summon a monster with it to help card effects that benefit from having lower LP than your opponent, such as "Megamorph" and "Soul Strike".
  • When this card is Summoned, use cards like "Barrel Behind the Door" or "Damage Polarizer", as the former will deal the same amount of damage to the opponent, rendering the Life Point gain moot, while the latter will block the damage and give yourself (and your opponent) an extra draw.
  • If this card is banished and your opponent has at least one banished monster, use "Different Dimension Encounter" to bring it back to the field in face-down Defense Position. Then it can be Flip Summoned, avoiding its drawback in the process, and use it for a Synchro Summon.
    • "Escape from the Dark Dimension" can also be used to recover this card, though 400 damages will still be taken, but it won't be banished again if it's destroyed or used for a Synchro Summon.
  • Use this card to Synchro Summon "PSY-Framelord Omega", so it can then use its effect during the opponent's Standby Phase to re-add this card to the Graveyard by its effect for further Synchro Summons.
