- The Italian version of this card (SOD-IT041) has a different lore. The translation would be the following: "Send 1 face-up monster on your side of the field that has "LV" in its name to the Graveyard to activate this card. Special Summon the monster that is written in the Card Name of that monster from your hand or Deck, Ignoring the Summoning Conditions."
- Since the card only specifies a monster written in the selected card's description, you could use this card to summon a lower-level "LV" monster.
Example:
Dark Mimic LV3 does, in fact, have Dark Mimic LV1 written on it. Since Dark Mimic LV3 has Dark Mimic LV1 written on it, you could use Level Up! to summon Dark Mimic LV1. There are, however, not many practical reasons to do this.
- The monster being levelled up in the card artwork is Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6.
