- The red-haired monster featured on the Last Turn card is Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, and he is fighting Yamata Dragon. Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi is winning the battle, because it has greater ATK points. Although this is imposible, because neither Monster can be Special summoned.
- This might be a reference to the sculpture "Laocoön and His Sons", which depicts the Trojan priest Laocoön fighting a sea serpent.
- This card is the cover card for Legacy of Darkness.
- This is one of the three cover cards that are not monsters, the other ones is Deck Devastation Virus that is featured on Flaming Eternity and Mask of Restrict that is featured on Labyrinth of Nightmare.
