- In the Japanese Version this monster's attack was called "Galaxy Crusher", while in the English dub, its attack is called "Dragon Saber Blast".
This card appears once in the Legendary Heroes story arc.
- Yugi fuses his "Black Luster Soldier" with Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to create this card, using it to destroy The Big Five's "Five-Headed Dragon" (Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 045).
- In this arc, it gained 500 ATK points for every Dragon-Type monster on the field and in the Graveyard. It also had only 4000 DEF points.
This card also appears once in the Waking the Dragons story arc.
- It is used by Yami and Seto against Dartz along with the trap card "Meteorain" in an attempt to wipe him out early. However the damage was absorbed by "Orichalcos Kyutora" (Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 177).
This card also appears once in the Dawn of the Duel story arc.
