- This card has a DARK counterpart called "Ebon Magician Curran" who’s ATK and DEF are the same as this card. In addition to their differences, "Ebon Magician Curran" makes your opponent lose Life Points while this card lets you gain Life Points.
- According to Master Guide 2, Ebon Magician Curran is White Magician Pikeru's twin sister.
