Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Broken Blocker", "Sangan", "Last Will", "Magician's Circle", "Dark General Freed", "Mystic Tomato", "Creeping Darkness", "Chaos Zone", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Summoner Monk", "Soul Rope", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Arnis, the Empowered Warrior", "Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior", "Spellbook Star Hall", "The Grand Spellbook Tower", "Spellbook of Judgment", "Dark Renewal", "Lemon Magician Girl", "Ebon High Magician", "Magician Navigation", "Fusion Reserve", and "Fusion Conscription".
- Use this card to search out powerful "boss monsters" that have low DEF, but high ATK.
- This works well in Beatdown decks, getting cards like "Gene-Warped Warwolf", "Summoned Skull", "Jirai Gumo", and even "Monarch" monsters.
- Fuse this monster with "Sangan" while they are both on the field to make "Sanwitch". You will be able to choose 2 monsters, 1 with less than 1500 ATK and 1 with less than 1500 DEF, to add to your hand.
- This card works very well for Ritual decks, as most Ritual Monsters have low DEF. Simply use this card and "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands" to get a Ritual monster and its Ritual Spell Card. Alternatively, have "Sonic Bird" search "Advanced Ritual Art".
- Activating this effect is very easy, because this card only needs to be sent from the field to the graveyard in order to activate its special ability (e.g. it doesn't have to be destroyed), but pay attention: if this card does not go to the Graveyard (ie. banished, discarded from your hand, deck, etc.) this effect doesn't activate.
- This card can help fulfill the requirements for "Dark Renewal". By using it as the needed Spellcaster for "Dark Renewal", you can send it and an opposing monster to the Graveyard to summon a more powerful DARK Spellcaster, which will also trigger "Witch of the Black Forest's" ability, allowing you to search out another monster.
- You can gain a +1 advantage with this card and "Wonder Wand". Simply send this card equipped with "Wonder Wand" to the Graveyard via "Wonder Wand's" effect to not only draw two cards, but search out a monster.
