  • "Magical Thorn" is a good Trap Card in a Dark World Deck. But to cause some better damage, "Forced Requisition" is a great card to use.
    • With "Forced Requisition", your opponent will be forced to discard cards from his/her hand each time you do, and with "Magical Thorn" in play, your opponent will lose 500 Life Points per card.
    • With "Tempest Magician" and this combo, you can discard from your hand to gain counters, making them discard and hurting them for it, then remove counters to effectively double your damage from the above combination.
  • "Magical Thorn" also works very well once you have "Helpoemer" in your graveyard.
  • "Morphing Jar" and "Card Destruction" are great ways to dish out heavy amounts of damage because they can consistently make your opponent lose up to 6 cards, and as well as up to 3000 Life Points with the effect of "Magical Thorn".
  • Combine this card with "Greed", "Serial Spell" and "Card Destruction" to inflict large amounts of damage and mill out some of your opponent's deck.
  • This card may be a usefull side deck choice to stop "Fabled" OTK decks as well as slowing down "Lightsworn" decks.
  • Combo with a well timed Book of Eclipse to make your opponent draw and discard up to 5 cards.
  • Works great in a Empty Jar deck. -TheKing200x
