- The names of the twenty-six "Worm" monsters released for the six "Duel Terminal" systems each start with a different one of the twenty-six letters of the English alphabet, from A to Z. "Worm Apocalypse" can be considered to have been released first, due to its code, while "Worm Zero" is last.
- The "Worms" on this card appear on the artwork of "Worm King", "Worm Prince" (Only in the OCG) and Evilswarm Azzathoth (As a part of it).
- "Worm Apocalypse's" skin is transparent, as its muscles can be seen through its skin.
- This card could possibly be based on nematodes as it resembles how they are commonly illustrated and it appears to be swarming as nematodes do in the wild.
