- This card is effective against Dark World support cards such as "Dark World Dealings", since those cards cause discards but do not count as costs.
- This card is, ironically, useful for negating "Royal Tribute".
- Consider using "Gemini Imps" instead as this card naturally grants you a +1 advantage over Gravekeeper's Watcher for general negation.
- Keep in mind though that Gemini Imp does not negate ALL of the same cards that this card can. Such example is "Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss".
- Use this card to protect yourself from "Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss" against the Burning Abyss match up.
- The only advantage this card would have over "Gemini Imps" is in a pure Gravekeeper's deck, since it can be searched by "Gravekeeper's Recruiter" and recycled by "Gravekeeper's Stele".
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Spellbook of Judgment", "Sangan", "Last Will" and "Witch of the Black Forest".
