Summary
Noah tells everyone where the real exits are - the virtual Domino City arcade. With the virtual world about to be destroyed, Gozaburo turns into a red monster and tries to escape in Kaiba's body. However Kaiba convinces him to continue dueling, promising his body if Gozaburo wins.
Joey, Duke, Téa and Serenity escape to the real world. Tristan also escapes and returns to his real body. Yugi stays behind to find Kaiba. Noah gives him a shortcut to Kaiba and Gozaburo's duel.
Kaiba wins the duel but Gozaburo tries to take his body anyway in his red monster form. Yugi helps him escape the building and Noah gives them a new exit. Noah gives Mokuba's body back and says goodbye as he sends him back to the real world. In the virtual world, Gozaburo plans to upload his mind to another network, but Noah traps him as the place destructs.
All of the gang escape the fortress in the blimp, although Yugi, Kaiba and Mokuba barely make it.
Noah and Gozaburo are destroyed with the virtual world when the missile hits the fortress, however Gozaburo makes one last bid to escape in the form of a large flame. He fails and disappears with the explosion. The Battle City finals can now commence.

- Thanks to its other special ability, "Exodia Necross" gains another +1000 ATK for battling with a monster ("Exodia Necross": 1400 → 2400/0).
- The effect of "Shrink" wears off on the End Phase, so "Exodia Necross" regains the ATK it lost from "Shrink" ("Exodia Necross": 2400 → 3800/0]).

- Seto pays 2500 LP (Seto 2600 → 2100 → 1600 → 1100 → 600 → 100) to activate the effect of "Soul Demolition" five times in order to remove all five Exodia pieces in Gozaburo's Graveyard from play, thereby negating "Exodia Necross's" special effects and most importantly, its boosted ATK ("Exodia Necross": 5800 → 1800/0) (NOTE: In the real game, removing any of the Exodia pieces from its controller's graveyard results in "Exodia Necross's" immediate destruction).
- Tributes "Ancient Lamp" and "La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp" to summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" (3000/2500) in Attack Position.
- "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys Gozaburo's "Exodia Necross" (Gozaburo 900 → 0). Seto wins. (Seto did not need to summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon to win as attacking Exodia Necross with La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp and then attacking directly with Ancient Lamp would also let him win)
Epilogue

- With the help of Noah, Yugi and Seto return to the real world. Noah frees Mokuba's body, but returns to the Virtual World to prevent Gozaburo from escaping.

- The Battle City tournament can resume.
Differences In Adaptations
- Noah clinging on to Gozaburo's neck is removed when Gozaburo is breaking up.
- The sign saying Alert is changed to a column of red lines in the dub.
- At the end of the episode, cut is a shot of a lily floating on a river and Mokuba hearing Noah saying 'I am a human, not a machine.'
- In the dub, Yugi believes that Noah has uploaded his mind to a back-up file, and Mokuba agrees with Yugi that he and his friends will see Noah again. However in the original, Mokuba merely throws the lily into the river, signifying that Noah is dead.
Trivia
- This Duel is the only one in the Virtual World involving no Deck Masters.
