In episode 46, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Duke Devlin. After Joey summons this card, he uses this card to attack and destroy Duke's "Spikebot". This card switches to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase due to its effect. "Gradius" (whose ATK was 2400 due to it being powered up by the effect of "Limiter Removal") then attacks and destroys this card. Due to the effect of "Fairy Meteor Crush", "Gradius" inflicts piercing damage to Joey, defeating him.

In episode 105, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Johnson. He draws this card and "Shield & Sword" via "Arduous Decision". Johnson then had to select one of the two cards without looking. Johnson initially chooses "Shield & Sword", but Joey's words made him choose this card. Because of that, Joey Special Summons this card. He then activates the effect of "Burning Soul Sword", Tributing this card to increase the ATK of "Flame Swordsman" by the ATK of this card. "Flame Swordsman" then attacks and destroys "Dragoness the Wicked Knight", winning Joey the duel.

In episode 188, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. After Joey summons this card, he used this card to attack "Ancient Giant", but Apdnarg activates "Ordeal of a Traveler" and forces Joey to guess the card type of one card in his hand. Joey guesses wrong, so this card went back to his hand. On Joey's next turn, he summons this card, but chose not to attack due to the risk of this card going back to his hand due to the effect of "Ordeal of a Traveler". "Ancient Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card. The latter's effect then activates, destroying the three remaining Sheep Tokens that Joey still had on his side of the field. Joey later activates "Premature Burial" to revive this card and equip it with "Premature Burial". He then activates "Giant Trunade" to return all Spell and Traps on the field back to the owners' hands. Joey then activates "Premature Burial" to revive "Gilford the Lightning" and equip it with "Premature Burial". "Giford the Lightning" then attacks "Ancient Dragon". Both monsters are then destroyed in a Double KO. This card then attacks Solomon directly, winning Joey the duel.

In episode 191, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. Zigfried uses the effect of "Goddess Skuld's Oracle" to look at Joey's three cards. He then tells Joey to place this card on top of his Deck. Zigfred then activates the effect of "Goddess Verdandi's Guidance" and declares that Joey's top card is a monster. Since Zigfried was correct, Joey was forced to Special Summon this card in face-down Defense Position. Zigfried then activates the effect of "Goddess Urd's Verdict" to declare that Joey's set monster is this card. Since Zigfried was correct, this card was banished.

In episode 34, this card is shown in a flashback that Kalin Kessler has. There a Duel Gang member is shown using this card in his Ground Duel against Jack Atlas. "Twin-Sword Marauder" then attacks and destroys this card. "Twin-Sword Marauder" then inflicts Piercing Damage to the Duel Gang member, winning Jack the Duel.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time, two copies of this card appear in Paradox's explanation when he tells Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei that the reason why he came to the past was so that he could prevent his own bad future from happening. Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei disagreed with going along with Paradox's plan as Paradox's actions will destroy and ruin their eras in time since they revolved around Duel Monsters.

In chapter 9, Yuma equips this card to "Zubaba General" from his hand by activating the effect of "Zubaba General".
