• In episode 10, Syrus Truesdale uses this card during his Tag Duel with Jaden Yuki against Para and Dox. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. Later "Gate Guardian" (who was equipped with "Fairy Meteor Crush") then attacks and destroys this card. "Gate Guardian" then inflicts piercing damage to Jaden and Syrus.

• In episode 14, Syrus is shown using this card while dueling against Jaden during winter vacation. The duel is interrupted due to Torrey crashing through the doors.

• In episode 76, this card is shown in Syrus' hand during his Tag Duel with Tyranno Hassleberry against Frost and Thunder.

• In episode 95, Syrus uses this card during his duel against Zane Truesdale. After Syrus Normal Summons this card, he equips this card with "Training Wheels". "Submarineroid" then attacks directly via its own effect. Syrus then switches "Submarineroid" to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. This card then attacks directly via the effect of "Training Wheels". The last effect of "Training Wheels" then activates, banishing this card and "Training Wheels" until Syrus' next Standby Phase. On Syrus' next Standby Phase, this card and "Training Wheels" are returned to the field. Syrus then activates "Power Bond" to fuse this card with another copy of this card in order to Fusion Summon "Pair Cycroid".
