- This card can be searched by "Rogue of Endymion", "Watch Cat", "Watch Dog", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- "Foolish Burial Goods" can grant easy access to this card, since this card can be retrieved from the GY via its own effect.
- In general, "Arkbrave Dragon" is an ideal discard for that effect, since that monster's effect can be used to provide the required monster for this card's first effect to trigger.
- Discarding Nowru Aries The Vernal Dragon can also be a good choice as you can then discard another lv7+ Dragon to special summon it instantly by its own effect. This can be interesting in a Blue-Eyes Felgrand deck as normal summoning Sage with Eyes of Blue will allow you to synchro summon Chaos Ruler.
- This card can be a useful, renewable cost for the effect of "Darkstorm Dragon".
