- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", and "Mystic Tomato".
- A great trick to end your opponent's attacks: if your opponent has two monsters on the field and one of them destroys Newdoria, destroy the monster that DIDN'T attack. It prevents your opponent from conducting a Direct Damage attack and it'll force them to end the Battle phase. This also works with any other monster that allows you to destroy one monster on the field, like "Man-Eater Bug".
- Since Newdoria doesn't specify a specific target, it can be a nice card for Yubel after ramming it into an opponent's monster.
- At the cost of some Life Points, you can suicide this monster into stronger Monsters that are in Attack Position to destroy them.
