- This card was banned since it almost resets the game except for the Life Points and banished cards.
- This card is the first to have the the word "unite" written it its card text. The second is "Monster Recovery".
- This card has 8 counterparts. They are "Cobra Jar", "Dimension Jar", "Dice Jar" "Ancient Jar", "Morphing Jar", "Morphing Jar 2","Cyber Jar" and "Absorb Jar".
- This is the first, and currently, the only Forbidden Plant monster.
- With the March 2012 ban list, it's not the only one. Spore and Glow-Up Bulb are now both Forbidden as well.
- This monster bears an uncanny resemblance to the heavily vegetated ancient ruins of 'Laputa' from the Studio Ghibli movie Castle in the Sky. In the movie, Laputa had the general appearance of a giant floating tree, especially at the end of the movie. At the bottom of the ruins was a large, round laser cannon similar to the one that is visible at the bottom of this monster. (And in fact, some of the Yu-Gi-Oh! video games for the Nintendo DS even actually show "Fiber Jar" to fire a laser when it attacks.)
